The core operations of ATGL are centered around the development and management of extensive City Gas Distribution networks across India. The company supplies Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to residential, commercial, and industrial segments, alongside Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to the automotive and transportation sectors. Together with its 50/50 joint venture entity, Indian Oil - Adani Gas Private Limited (IOAGPL), ATGL manages a vast operational footprint spanning 53 geographical areas across 125 districts, effectively catering to approximately 14% of India’s total population. The joint infrastructure boasts an expansive steel pipeline network extending over 27,000 inch-kilometers and supplies reliable, eco-friendly fuel to more than 12.5 lakh domestic households while operating over 1,120 CNG refueling stations. Adapting to the modern infrastructure demands of decarbonization and energy transition, ATGL has progressively diversified its portfolio into multi-fuel and low-carbon offerings. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL), the company is aggressively scaling an electric vehicle (EV) charging ecosystem with a pan-India focus on B2B segments, e-buses, and four-wheelers. Concurrently, another dedicated subsidiary, Adani TotalEnergies Biomass Limited (ATBL), drives the company's circular economy initiatives by developing compressed biogas (CBG) activities. ATBL's flagship biogas facility in Barsana, Uttar Pradesh, converts agricultural residues and organic waste into clean fuel, while additional projects are underway in Ahmedabad and Rajkot. Furthermore, the company has successfully integrated hydrogen blending pilots into its existing grid to future-proof its utility network. Financially, ATGL is publicly traded on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) under the ticker symbol ATGL. For the fiscal year 2024-25, the company reported standalone operational revenues of INR 5,442 crore, an EBITDA of INR 1,167 crore, and a Profit After Tax (PAT) of INR 654 crore, driven by strong volumetric growth in its dominant CNG segment.
