Eureka Forbes Limited is a leading Indian home appliances and consumer goods company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Founded on February 15, 1982, as a joint venture between the Tata Group’s Forbes & Company and Swedish manufacturer Electrolux, the company has grown into India's premier health and hygiene brand. Over its four-decade legacy, ownership shifted to the Shapoorji Pallonji Group in 2001, and subsequently, in 2022, the private equity firm Advent International acquired a majority stake (62.56%). Today, Eureka Forbes is a publicly traded entity listed on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) under the ticker symbol EUREKAFORB. The company is globally renowned for pioneering direct selling in India, utilizing a highly successful network of suit-clad sales representatives, historically termed "Euro Champs," to introduce previously unfamiliar health technologies to Indian households. Today, it operates a balanced omnichannel business model that combines direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales, retail stores, modern trade, and e-commerce platforms. This commercial reach extends across more than 1,500 cities and towns in India, touching millions of homes daily. Under the leadership of Managing Director and CEO Pratik Pota, Eureka Forbes employs thousands of people, including an extensive service infrastructure featuring over 9,000 technicians operating across 19,500+ pin codes. Eureka Forbes specializes in manufacturing, selling, renting, and servicing a diverse portfolio of health and hygiene products. Its flagship water purification brand, Aquaguard, holds a dominant market share of over 40% in India and has achieved near-synonymous status with water purifiers nationwide. Beyond water purification, the company is a market leader in the home cleaning segment, commanding over 60% of the vacuum cleaner market through its Euroclean and Forbes product lines. The broader portfolio also includes state-of-the-art air purification systems (Euroair), domestic electronic security solutions (Eurovigil), and innovative lifestyle offerings such as solar-powered bulbs (Eurodiya) and localized water conditioning systems. Financially, the company has shown consistent operational growth, adapting its traditional strength in product sales into a recurring revenue engine. Approximately one-third of its annual turnover is generated through its high-margin service segment, including Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and spare part replacements. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, Eureka Forbes reported a consolidated revenue of INR 2,451.48 crore, with water purification machinery accounting for 51.07% of the total turnover, followed by repair and servicing at 32.92%. The company’s financial stability is highlighted by its virtually debt-free balance sheet and a remarkable 71% growth in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) reaching INR 164.41 crore in FY25. Backed by its "Udaan" transformation strategy, Eureka Forbes continues to invest heavily in R&D to pioneer smart, IoT-enabled appliances, targeting an ambitious revenue expansion towards INR 5,400 crore by 2030.
