Heritage Foods Limited, founded in 1992 by Nara Chandrababu Naidu, is one of India's leading and fastest-growing private sector dairy enterprises. Headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana, the company operates primarily across South India but has steadily expanded its footprint into Northern and Western regions, establishing a market presence across 16 to 17 states including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Odisha, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi NCR. The company operates an integrated, data-driven supply chain that connects over 300,000 dairy farmers with millions of consumers. Heritage Foods functions through a direct-to-farmer procurement model and processes its dairy products across 18 milk processing facilities. Its core processing infrastructure boasts a chilling capacity of 1.95 million liters per day, a processing capacity of 2.57 million liters per day, and a packaging capacity of 1.71 million liters per day. While dairy products constitute the overwhelming majority of its business, contributing nearly 99.98% of total revenue, Heritage Foods operates across three primary business divisions: Dairy, Renewable Energy, and Animal Feed. The main product portfolio comprises liquid milk (which accounts for approximately 60% of sales) alongside an expanding line of Value-Added Products (VAP) such as curd, ghee, paneer, butter, flavored milk, lassi, ice cream, and ultra-high temperature (UHT) milk. The company also recently expanded its VAP segment by commissioning a new greenfield ice cream manufacturing facility in Shamirpet, near Hyderabad, capable of producing 24 million liters per annum. Additionally, its fully-owned subsidiary, Heritage Nutrivet Limited, produces livestock feed, while its renewable energy vertical operates 25 locations utilizing wind and solar power plants with a total capacity of 12.14 MW for captive consumption. Heritage Foods went public in 1994, with its initial public offering oversubscribed 54 times. Today, its shares are publicly traded on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE: HERITGFOOD) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE: 519552). The company's leadership team includes Chairperson A.V.
