Complementing its manufacturing prowess, HMIL runs a sophisticated Research and Development facility, Hyundai Motor India Engineering (HMIE), located in Hyderabad, Telangana, which drives localized product design and technical innovation. HMIL features a comprehensive product portfolio comprising 13 to 14 vehicle models tailored across diverse market segments. This lineup includes hatchbacks like the Grand i10 Nios and i20; sedans such as the Aura and Verna; and an extensive range of Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) including the Exter, Venue, Alcazar, Tucson, and the highly successful Creta, which dominates the mid-SUV segment. Financially, HMIL is a cornerstone of the Indian automotive sector. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, the company reported total annual volumes of 775,031 vehicles, with domestic sales contributing roughly 78% (584,906 units) and exports to over 90 emerging markets across Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Australia, and Asia comprising 22% (190,125 units). For FY26, HMIL generated a massive revenue of INR 70,763.3 crore and achieved a Profit After Tax (PAT) of INR 5,431.5 crore. Supported by an extensive domestic network of over 1,366 sales points and 1,550 service points, the company continues to champion sustainable, green manufacturing operations.
