While market dynamics shifted during the late 2010s due to the influx of global competitors, Micromax initiated a strategic brand resurgence in 2020 by introducing a dedicated hardware lineup under the "IN" sub-brand. Today, the Micromax Group has evolved beyond consumer electronics into a highly diversified technology group. The firm has expanded its footprint into modern sectors including semiconductor design via MiPhi Semiconductors, clean energy generation through its solar venture Startup Energy, and renewable fuel alternatives with Micromax Biofuels.
