Pocket Aces Pictures Private Limited is India's leading digital entertainment company focused on mobile video. Founded in December 2013 by Aditi Shrivastava, Anirudh Pandita, and Ashwin Suresh, the company is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It has established itself as a pioneering force in the Indian digital media landscape, primarily targeting millennial and Gen Z audiences with highly relatable, data-driven, and culturally relevant content. The core operations of Pocket Aces revolve around creating, producing, and distributing original short-form and long-form digital content. The company operates a robust ecosystem of highly popular, specialized content channels that cater to various youth interests. These flagship brands include FilterCopy (short-form fiction), Dice Media (premium long-form web series), Gobble (lifestyle and food), Nutshell (infotainment), and Pocket Change (short-form non-fiction). Together, these channels command a massive subscriber base of over 35 million users and clock more than 700 million video views monthly across major social media platforms. Beyond direct-to-consumer digital channels, Pocket Aces acts as a preferred creator for premium Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming platforms. Through Dice Media, the company has conceptualized and distributed acclaimed multi-season web series via lucrative content syndication and licensing deals with major networks including Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon miniTV, Amazon Audible, Voot, Zee5, and Aha. This business-to-business (B2B) licensing model forms a primary pillar of the company's revenue architecture. Additionally, Pocket Aces operates "Clout," one of India's largest exclusive talent management agencies, which manages over 120 digital actors, creators, and online influencers, enabling comprehensive brand solutions. Financially, Pocket Aces historically scaled its operations as a prominent venture capital-backed startup, raising capital across several institutional funding rounds from tier-one investors such as Sequoia Capital India (now Peak XV Partners), 3one4 Capital, DSP Group, North Base Media, and Stride Ventures. In a major consolidation move within the Indian media industry, Saregama India Limited (an RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group company) acquired a 51.82% majority stake in Pocket Aces in an all-cash transaction valued at INR 1,740 million, making Pocket Aces an operating subsidiary of the legendary music and entertainment giant. Led by current CEO and Co-Founder Aditi Shrivastava, the company employs between 150 to 250 personnel. Pocket Aces differentiates itself through a data-backed approach to content ideation and an agile, in-house production unit that quickly adapts to shifting content consumption trends, such as short-form influencer marketing and vertical video formats. By leveraging Saregama's massive infrastructure and library, Pocket Aces continues to strengthen its market position, expanding its distribution reach and diversifying its premium IP portfolio to capture a larger share of the expanding Indian digital entertainment economy.
