The platform serves more than 80 million unique fans every month. Its comprehensive content ecosystem features up-to-the-minute updates and articles spanning a diverse range of popular sports, including cricket, association football, basketball, mixed martial arts, professional wrestling, the NFL, NBA, NHL, and WWE, alongside a rapidly growing esports segment. To maintain its lightning-quick publishing speed and high-quality journalistic standards, Sportskeeda utilizes a global network of top remote journalists, content creators, and contributors who produce hundreds of well-researched content pieces daily. Strategically, the platform underwent a series of major corporate transitions that fueled its global expansion. In 2019, Indian video game and esports conglomerate Nazara Technologies acquired a majority 67% stake in Absolute Sports Private Limited, the parent entity of Sportskeeda, for INR 44 crore. Nazara progressively increased its stake over the following years, culminating in full ownership. To tap directly into Western markets, Sportskeeda incorporated its fully owned US subsidiary, Sportskeeda Inc., in Delaware in May 2022. This presence was further solidified through the strategic acquisition of Pro Football Network (PFN), a US-based sports analysis website focused on NFL and college football, boosting its market footprint in North America. Financially robust, Sportskeeda operates on a business model built around advertising partnerships, sponsored content, digital marketing collaborations, and affiliate marketing. Its revenue is estimated to be in the range of USD 25 million to USD 50 million, supported by advanced digital infrastructure tools like Taboola, Firebase, and AppNexus to optimize user monetization and data analytics. Under the current leadership of Chief Executive Officer Ajay Pratap Singh, who took the helm following Porush Jain's resignation in late 2022, Sportskeeda continues to scale into new geographic territories.
