It also maintains relationships with over 600 mobile network operators, enabling connectivity for four out of five mobile subscribers worldwide. Tata Communications structures its business offerings around an integrated "digital fabric" that encompasses network services, cloud hosting, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT) deployments, and customer interaction solutions. Its comprehensive portfolio includes next-generation connectivity like SD-WAN, Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS), and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS). The company serves approximately 5,000 to 7,000 customers globally, including 300 of the Fortune 500 companies, multinational corporations, and digital native enterprises. Additionally, it provides specialized media and entertainment solutions, acting as the official broadcast connectivity partner for major international events such as Formula 1 and World Athletics. To fuel its global expansion and enhance its digital products, Tata Communications has pursued strategic mergers and acquisitions. Significant milestones include the acquisition of Teleglobe, BitGravity, and more recently in 2023, the completion of its acquisitions of the major CPaaS platform Kaleyra and video production firm The Switch. Financed by robust operations, the company recently surpassed the INR 20,000-crore revenue milestone, reporting a gross revenue of INR 24,803 crore for the fiscal year. Led by Managing Director and CEO Amur Lakshminarayanan, the company has maintained its position as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Global WAN Services for 13 consecutive years as of 2026, while also committing to sustainability targets verified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
