New Delhi
TradeIndia, maintained and promoted under the flagship company Infocom Network Private Limited, is one of India's largest and oldest B2B marketplaces. Founded in 1996 by Bikky Khosla, the platform was established to provide the global business community a single forum to promote products and services. Headquartered in New Delhi, the company has expanded its footprint significantly, operating branch offices in over 35 cities across India and employing more than 1,200 professionals. As of March 2026, Infocom Network reported an employee count of 1,479, while other reports estimate the total workforce associated with the marketplace at over 3,000. The platform serves as a critical bridge between buyers and suppliers, including manufacturers, exporters, and importers. It features a massive database of over 11.4 million registered users and covers approximately 100,000 product categories. TradeIndia offers a comprehensive suite of 360-degree digital marketing solutions tailored specifically for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to help them compete in a digitized global economy. Its core services include online business catalogs, trade alerts, and directory services. Over the years, it has diversified its offerings to include value-added services such as TI Pay (a payment protection plan), TI Lending (collateral-free business loans), and TI Logistics (shipping solutions). The company’s journey began in 1990 with the publication of the Exporters Yellow Pages. In 2001, it received an initial investment of $1.7 million from renowned venture capitalist Vinod Khosla. Since then, TradeIndia has achieved several milestones, including becoming an ICANN-accredited registrar in 2004, launching a mobile app in 2016, and integrating with Google Shopping in 2021. The platform generates revenue through annual listing packages for businesses, with transactions on the marketplace estimated between $15 billion and $20 billion annually. TradeIndia operates in a highly competitive landscape, with its primary rivals being IndiaMART, Alibaba Group, and Geniemode. Despite the competition, it maintains a strong market position by fostering a customer-driven value chain and facilitating nearly 89 million inquiries every year. Led by CEO Sandip Chhettri and founder Bikky Khosla, the organization emphasizes core values such as ownership and innovation. It continues to play a pivotal role in the "Digitally Saksham" initiative, aiming to enable millions of Indian SMEs to transition into the digital era while connecting them to global value chains across more than 10 countries.
