WAPCOS Limited, formerly known as Water and Power Consultancy Services (India) Limited, is a premier central public sector enterprise wholly owned by the Government of India. WAPCOS is deeply integrated into major national initiatives, executing premier Government of India schemes such as the Jal Jeevan Mission, AMRUT, Namami Gange, and the Smart Cities Mission. WAPCOS is highly recognized for its extensive global footprint, having executed projects in over 75 countries across South Asia, Africa, the Middle East, CIS nations, and South America. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has ranked WAPCOS as the No. 1 international consultancy firm in the water and urban infrastructure sector based on maximum sanctioned financed amounts. The company partners closely with major international funding bodies, including the World Bank, African Development Bank, and New Development Bank, to deliver complex developmental assignments worldwide. Headquartered at Kailash Building, Kasturba Gandhi Marg in New Delhi, WAPCOS operates through a robust network of more than 100 project and regional offices across India and multiple international subsidiaries. The organization derives its operational excellence from a multidisciplinary workforce of over 2,500 experts and engineering professionals. Leadership is headed by Smt.
