WorkIndia, legally known as Eloquent Info Solutions Private Limited, is a leading Indian technology company that operates a specialized recruitment marketplace designed to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers in the blue-collar and gray-collar sectors. Established in July 2015 and headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, the company was founded by a team of entrepreneurs including Kunal Patil, Nilesh Dungarwal, Moiz Arsiwala, Ajay Kumar, Lokesh Tiwari, and others. The platform was created with a mission to provide meaningful livelihoods to India's vast blue-collar workforce, estimated at over 23 crore individuals, by leveraging technology to eliminate middlemen and fraudulent recruitment practices. The core of WorkIndia’s value proposition is its fully automated, AI-driven recruitment ecosystem. Unlike traditional job portals that often require manual screening, WorkIndia allows employers to post job vacancies in under five minutes. The platform then uses machine learning algorithms to match these vacancies with relevant candidates from its database of over 4 crore users. One of its standout features is the direct calling system, which enables employers to receive calls from interested and verified candidates within hours of posting a job, significantly reducing the time-to-hire. For job seekers, the platform offers a geo-targeted mobile application that allows them to find and apply for nearby jobs with a single click, ensuring accessibility and convenience for users who may not be accustomed to complex digital application processes. Since its inception, WorkIndia has demonstrated significant growth and successfully attracted substantial venture capital interest. As a Series B funded startup, it has raised approximately $45.6 million from a diverse group of domestic and international investors, including Beenext, Xiaomi, Asuka Asset Management, and Aavishkaar Capital. In its latest funding round in December 2025, the company secured additional capital to further enhance its job-matching technology and expand its operational footprint. The company has scaled its operations to serve over 750 cities across India, supporting more than 15 lakh small and medium businesses (SMBs) and numerous large corporations like Justdial and Cars24. Currently led by CEO Nilesh Dungarwal, WorkIndia employs approximately 900 people and reports annual revenue in the range of ₹50 to ₹100 crore. The platform maintains a high level of engagement, facilitating over 3 million interview calls per month. By focusing on transparency, such as prohibiting consultancies that charge fees from candidates, WorkIndia has established itself as a trusted utility in the Indian labor market, helping approximately 1 lakh individuals find employment every month. Through its innovative use of data and analytics, the company continues to refine the recruitment process for high-demand sectors such as construction, garments, and logistics.
